Coca-Cola bottling company Coca-Cola Icecek has announced plans to invest $30m on starting production in Tajikistan.
According to The Associated Press, after commencing operations the company is all set to double its investments over a decade and has not yet set a date for a definitive deal.
Including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan, the company already operates in several other countries in Central Asia and exports its products to Tajikistan currently.
Istanbul-based Coca-Cola Icecek is a part of the Coca-Cola System and is 20% owned by the Coca-Cola Company and the remaining trades on the stock exchanges in Turkey.
