Chung Hung Steel, one of the major carbon steel flat rerolling mills in Taiwan is going to release its new price policy for next January on December 25th.
Most market analysts predicted that Chung Hung Steel would raise the prices by around US$10/ton for next January, driven by higher input costs.
It’s known that the global steel market prices have stayed firm and iron price prices have rose to US$135/ton recently.
Meanwhile, Chung Hung Steel may have chance to make up its profits in the first quarter of next year from the negative numbers if the company increase the steel prices.
